Guess who finally came..

So here is my labor story..
I was in the hospital for 2 weeks in mothercare. My doctor put me in there because my protein level, but it ended up tripleing so he said we need to induce me because I was getting sicker. So on the night of December 16 I went to labor and delivery. They put me on the magnesium since I have high blood pressure and it made me really sick. So they have to take your blood every few hours and they can only do it out of your right arm in your elbow and the guy came in and messed up and did it 2 times, I almost passed out. Then another guy came because the guy messed up again! So I got poked so many times, my arm looked horrible. Then they had to thin out my cervix then at 6 that morning they induced me. So at about 10:00 I got my epidural, Jerry Don almost passed out. The epidural made my left leg numb for like an hour. Then nothing. So they came back and gave me more but it still didnt work. I was having the worst contractions and my doctor came in and said I was ready to go! So I started pushing at like 5:00 and it was hell. Dr. Bass ended up delivering him at 6:45 p.m. I was in complete shock, I kept asking if he was really mine. He held him up and he looked like a little monkey all sprawled out, then when they let me hold me I started crying my eyes out. I kept telling him how much I love him. He was so tiny, 5 lbs 4.5 oz, and 19 in. Skinny and long like his daddy.

Dogs are Dumb (except for Big Al)

Well we went to El Paso for my grandma's funeral. We left Thursday night and the funeral was Friday. I cleaned the house extra good so we could come home and be able to chill, but that didnt happen. Apparently it stormed pretty bad while we were gone so somehow our back door opened (even though it was locked) and the dogs came in. Three dogs! Dutch, Sadie & Rusty. Tramp was in another fence. Okay first of all these dogs arent even mine (except Rusty), which makes things much worse. So they tore up the trash all over our house, then tore up everything else you cant think of and I mean EVERTHING. They chewed our shoes, clothes, remotes, jewelry and they even pulled everything off the kitchen counters. They got mud all over our floors, carpets and walls. Our house smelled like horrible dog. SO, we spent a few hours getting our house back to normal, it was terrible. They even slept on our bed, so after washing our comforter and shampooing our carpet, we were able to sit down. It was late and I was super drained, but then, I FELT THE BABY MOVE! :) that made my night...

Big Al is the only good dog I know..

Prego

The picture is from when I was 10 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I am now almost 18 weeks pregnant. Still havent felt a kick, anytime now. Its been going very very good though. When I first found out I was pregnant, I was just really worried. It never seemed real to me that everything would actually be okay. I had a miscarriage in December. My baby never had a heartbeat.

Now everytime I go to the doctor I get to see or hear its heartbeat and that is so reassuring. I am also getting a baby bump and now I'm getting really excited. We find out what it is on September 3, and I am definately counting down the days. <3
