Baby's first Halloween

Haize's first Halloween went good, he got to dress up and go trick or treating and eat candy, he looked precious. He was such a good little lion, I am super proud! Lately he has been getting into EVERYTHING and tearing things up. He makes the biggest messes, I have to clean the house 1000 times a day now. He is a huge copycat now too, as we speak he is standing up putting his hand on the keyboard and trying to type like me. Earlier I was making this sound with my mouth and he started doing it too! He is so smart it blows my mind! I cant believe how fast this time has gone by he is almost a year old!! He is taking steps and learning to walk its so precious! Right now he just started making that sound again! Too cute!

Rest in peace Joe-C Wales!

Well I had to put my dog to sleep, we had her forever and ever and it was soo sad. Her name was Joe-C Wales (like the outlaw Josey Wales). A lot of my friends remember her as the super fat blue heeler that was so sweet, and she was the sweetest. She started getting sick and she wouldn't get up or eat. We were having to try to feed her and give her water. My husband was so good to her, he loved her so much. I am glad she is no longer suffering but its sad that she is gone.

I keep thinking that this time 2 years ago I was pregnant, I can't believe that. I guess it didn't seem as real to me as it does now. Last night I looked as Haize's first sonogram picture and I was so amazed that he grew to be a perfect little boy from a little jelly bean! Makes me wonder what could have been had I not had a miscarriage. But everything happens for a reason and now I have my perfect, sweet and precious baby boy!!

Until next season..

Well no more softball for the guys, the season is over. They might get invited to play in a tournament or something but for now its nothing for our team (Levrets Ink) until next season. I think my husband and my dad are going to be pretty lost without it! They just start practicing really early, in fact they never really stop haha! But now we don't have Tuesday nights to look forward to anymore for a while. They did so great this season, they had a winning record. I am so glad they love it so much (even though it isn't cheap!) They also got to play some tournaments this season too which was pretty fun. We can't wait until next season so they can kick some more butt! :)

Easter Weekend

We sure have had a lot going on lately. Last weekend Jerry Don and I went out of town to Fort Worth. First we stopped at Teskey's and shopped around then we went to a mall in Fort Worth. After all of our shopping we went to the Stockyards and ate and had fun. When it was time to go home it was raining and late so we decided to stay in Weatherford. We had SO much fun, we just drank beer and joked about all kinds of stuff. It was such a good trip. Now we have alot of inside jokes to laugh about.

The next day was Easter and Haize had such a good day! He got alot of presents from the Easter bunny and he even got to eat some chocolate. He is starting to reach out for things now so he was able to grab the eggs and his stuffed bunny. We had softball practice later that day and it was just Jerry Don, Jake and Randy (my dad). Haize had fun at practice like always and I even got out there and played first base.. yea, not so good..

Tuesday was the game against AA Rejects. I have been thinking it was going to be a good game all season. Last week when they played Crotch Bats they lost but they really ended up winning due to something with their contracts. So the game against AA Rejects was so good. All the guys hit so well and everyone did awesome. My dad and Jerry Don made home runs (so did some others) and it was so exciting to see the team do so good. Everyone was so excited and pumped up so hopefully the next game against one of the Beltway teams goes a little better. The score against AA Rejects was like 31 to 3 (or something like that). Yea they got stomped!

Guess who finally came..

So here is my labor story..
I was in the hospital for 2 weeks in mothercare. My doctor put me in there because my protein level, but it ended up tripleing so he said we need to induce me because I was getting sicker. So on the night of December 16 I went to labor and delivery. They put me on the magnesium since I have high blood pressure and it made me really sick. So they have to take your blood every few hours and they can only do it out of your right arm in your elbow and the guy came in and messed up and did it 2 times, I almost passed out. Then another guy came because the guy messed up again! So I got poked so many times, my arm looked horrible. Then they had to thin out my cervix then at 6 that morning they induced me. So at about 10:00 I got my epidural, Jerry Don almost passed out. The epidural made my left leg numb for like an hour. Then nothing. So they came back and gave me more but it still didnt work. I was having the worst contractions and my doctor came in and said I was ready to go! So I started pushing at like 5:00 and it was hell. Dr. Bass ended up delivering him at 6:45 p.m. I was in complete shock, I kept asking if he was really mine. He held him up and he looked like a little monkey all sprawled out, then when they let me hold me I started crying my eyes out. I kept telling him how much I love him. He was so tiny, 5 lbs 4.5 oz, and 19 in. Skinny and long like his daddy.
